Since the riddle for Bonju has been solved, here at Sunnyneo we thought we should try and answer some more riddles.

Hyhen and I have been reassigned to the Edna Project, to see if we can find any pattern to receive her avatar, or if it truly is random.

Update on Baby Gelert collars: TNT is apparently trying to find a way to get the proper paint brush items to pet owners.  (They recently added collars to the Baby Gelert, Baby Lupe, Maraquan Aisha and Mutant Aisha at the Rainbow Pool.)  They also ask for your patience.  Thanks to ineeileensegu2008 for the info.

Our coding experts have been hard at work rearranging our graphics.  We have updated our userlookups and shields.  The user lookups have also been updated for the new navigation.  We are still working on our shop /gallery and guild layouts, as well as petlookups and petpages, we will keep you posted!

As we mentioned last week, there's a new plot brewing.  Atlas of the Ancients begins today!  We are working on our Atlas of the Ancients Guide and will keep you posted.  
Update: Read the comic and click on the large map on the top center of page three, you should get an item called Ancient Map of Neopia.  That's all that's known at this time.  The NC Challenge for this plot (yes, there will be an NC Challenge!) is not yet active.

As you may know, Neopets was working on a new PC game called P3 Habitats, or Petpetpet Habitats. When the premium beta test began, we made a P3 Habitats guide about it to keep everyone posted on the game. 

For premium users there was a neoboard to test the game and talk about the details, the game itsself was downloadable on this page. Currently, the neoboard is gone, and the download page is a 404. We assume that Neopets has given up creating the game and is cancelling the idea. This is just our guess though, we cannot be certain.

Currently all there is left is this FAQ page. If we find out more, we will keep you posted.

As mentioned in the new features earlier this week, Neopets has changed the top navigation bar on the site.  Neovision is gone (the content as well as the links), a new customisation drop down is available, and the other links have been shuffled a little.  We expect to update our coding where necessary to show the new links.

Also, the email that Neopets sends out monthly is showing an upcoming site event called Atlas of the Ancients.  The image seems to star Roxton A. Colchester III (a character from the Journey to the Lost Isle plot -- see our JttLI plot guide for more info).  We can hardly wait until October 15!

Just a few hints on the spooky quests you can complete in Edna's Spooky Surprise:

• Start with the Brain Tree Quest.  The Brain Tree will ask you the date and location of the death of a fictional neopet.  The answer to his question is randomly generated as you complete two Esophagor Quests.
• Do two Esophagor Quests to get the answers the Brain Tree needs, then complete the Brain Tree Quest.  When typing the answer, be exact.
• Edna's Quest can randomly award an avatar.
• You should have until November 1 to complete one of each quest.  If the items are too expensive, just let the quest expire and try again later.

For all of these quests, you should set a limit of about 5000 neopoints or so for the items.  The rewards are usually not valuable.  You can do a total of 10 quests per day for these plus the other voluntary quests (Kitchen Quest, Snow Faerie Quest). 

With tonight's new features, a new seasonal daily was announced, Edna's Spooky Surprise.  Every day until November 1st you can collect a daily item from Edna, play spooky games (submit scores five times!) and complete spooky quests.

Update: If you complete all three quests (Edna, Brain Tree and Esophagor) you should get a bonus item, the book Tales of the Esophagor.  You may get the congratulations message even if you haven't completed all the quests, but you won't get the item.

Items received from Edna's trick or treat seem to be spooky foods and other spooky items.
