Currently, there is a glitch involving the Mystery Capsule Adventure. If you have purchased the Maraquan Mystery Capsule from the mall, it does not show up on your progress page, and will say you have either purchased 0 of 5 Mystery Capsules or 1 of 5 if you have purchased the Lost Desert Capsule. In Friday's new TNT has announced they will be hiring "beta" testers for some game related features.

We're looking for Neopets players who live near Los Angeles, CA to help us test new stuff at our games lab in Glendale, CA. If you'd like to participate in our research, test out new features and earn up to $75, please click here to sign up. To qualify, you must live near Los Angeles, CA and be able to drive to our games lab in Glendale, CA to meet with us in person. If you're under 16, a parent must drive or escort you to the lab, and if you're under 18, you'll have to have parental permission.

If you are accepted as a tester, we would love to hear from your experiences at Neopets' games lab. If you are an accepted tester and would like to contribute any information, please contact 1_ricky_1. You will of course be credited for any information provided that we decide to use.

MME7 morphed again. This time, it became a lovely sea scene with swimming Petpets, known as either MME7-S3: Swimming with Petpets Foreground or MME7-S3: School of Fish Foreground (There are two different names, but the item is the same).

Mutant Day is on August 25th. There is an old image of a Wocky Transmogrification Potion from last year's Wocky Day however the Wocky was never released. This could be the mutant pet released on this mutant day.

Petpage coding is available again.  We are trying to work out what changes have been made to the coding filters; we'll keep you posted as we learn more.

Update: It appears that Pet Lookups have also had a little update, resulting in our I ♥ My Pet Lookups no longer working. The coding for all 54 layouts have been updated and are now in working order. Be sure to update your existing code if you are currently using one of these layouts. Thank you purlarey for notifying us about this problem.

As some players have noticed, in the past few days neopets has temporarily disabled petpage coding. TNT made an official statement in this weeks' editorial regarding the topic :

Hi, TNT! I would like to take you to task for somehow letting a rumor get out that you will be taking Petpages off the site. Please tell me this is nothing but a rumor, because I would cry if it happened. I promise you, I would cry if you took Petpages off the site. Neopets has helped me learn how to code and design graphics, and I would be forlorn for days if you took away that privilege. ;-; Please take out my username if this gets in, so that no one teases me about being a crybaby. ~username removed No worries! We've just blocked Petpage editing temporarily while we update some coding. :)

You can now have over 100 neomails in your inbox. We believe this loyal user perk is for users 36 months and above, and that the inbox cap is at 200 neomails. The help chat discovered that for different account ages the cap will be different but the exact neomail/account age ratio is still unknown. TNT has mentioned they'd be deleting a lot of old, inactive accounts in the near future soon, but now we have more info about on how soon this will be.
