TNT announced on their facebook page that the next NC Mall collectible will be the Princess Lunara Kimono.  It should be released in early November and should complete the Royal Treatment Collection.
Also, a new NC item was released today called the Elegant Mutant Cape.  It is only wearable by Mutant pets.  Note: There's currently a glitch that allows the Cape to be placed in your NC Collector's Album.  Of course, since there's not a spot for it, you won't be able to find it and remove it.

There appears to be a new Halloween themed avatar that was released in today's news. 

At this stage it is believed that the avatar has been obtained from people who have restocked at the  Haunted Woods shops. It has also been discovered by some people that buying from the Neovia shops will also award the avatar.

BUT, it seems there may be a bit of a catch with this avatar. Merely buying any item will not award you the avatar immediately. At this point in time it is to be assumed that the awarding of this avatar is random. SunnyNeo will strive to keep up to date with the solution for this avatar!

Currently, there's an advertisement circulating about the Faeries' Ruin plot. On this banner, the question 'Who turned the faeries into stone' is asked. After this, an image showed up featuring most of the heroes from the plot, Hubrid Nox and...Dr. Sloth!

On the 9th day of Trick or Treat, for the treat you'll receive a rather spooky Spectral Candles Shower.  As always, our Trick or Treat guide has been updated with (animated) previews and more info!

The prize for the 8th day of Trick or Treat is the Spyder Web Mask. Our Trick or Treat guide has been updated with this new item.  Caution: The item name is identical to a retired NC item, make sure you know which one you're getting if you trade NC!

It seems there is a new collection when you go to your NC Collectors Album. It's called "Menace and Mischief"

Update: The layout has been fixed, it was released earlier with an error in the coding -_-  It has been corrected now though :D  and it is all ready for use again!

The 6th day of Trick or Treat is giving out a Sneaky Meowclops Foreground. We've updated our guide with previews of it (including an animated one). All other info about the Trick or Treat event is listed there as well.

The 15th tier has just started, so go battle any of the spectres to qualify for the next prize. The prize for qualifying in tier 14 is a Sparkle Potion, so head on over to the Battle Status page to collect it.

Today's treat is the Spooky Goblet:

Tier 12 has started. Defeat any of the spectres to qualify for the 12th tier prize. The 11th tier prize was a book called Knowledge and Honour.

Two new plot opponents have appeared in the battledome. The waves for these two has not been released yet, but will shortly. Shadow Spectre Fury (starting at difficulty 40) and Shadow Spectre Fury (starting at difficulty 100).

The 11th tier just started, battle any of the spectres to qualify for the new prize. The prize for participating in the 10th tier was a lovely book called The Armory.

Two more plot Battledome Challengers have been released, the Shadow Spectre Brute and the Shadow Spectre Conqueror.  We are currently in Tier 10 of the Mass Destruction Prizes.  Keep fighting, everyone!

So once you received the Negg Shower and the Prank BG, you won't receive any more tricked items (unless they release one more that is)

Starting today, it is possible to protect your unconverted Neopets from accidental conversion by requiring a PIN for conversion.  To choose this option, go to your PIN Preferences screen and check the box next to "Convert your Neopet".

Tired of 387 Bows in your SDB? Couldn't get anyone to accept that I Heart NC Flag (even after begging)? Well now you can discard your NeoCash items.
Just click on your unwanted Item and choose "Discard Item."

Just a couple of warnings:
- You won't get any NeoCash if you discard an item, it's just gone.
- Be sure it's the correct Item you want to delete. Once discarded, it's gone forever!

If this is a permanent option, or a glitch, is something we don't know yet. We just have to wait until TNT releases the news.

Two new released colours: 

The next chapter of the Faeries' Ruin has been released.  We've updated our Faeries' Ruin Guide, including the plot steps.  To start solving your new library puzzle, head to Brightvale and refresh the page.  Check below the map image for a link.
Also, a new Halloween themed NC Mall event has been announced.  We'll have a guide for that, too, once it's up and running.

A few days ago we mentioned that you could get the Battle Faerie avatar by refreshing the winners page after winning a battle. This is now no longer the case. Maybe it was a plot related goodie... We will never know. Congrats to all who got the avatar during the past few days =) Thanks to everyone who neomailed about this!

13th October 22:36 - The battle has finally come to an end. Though the heroes of Neopia are battered and exhausted from their lengthy fight, the wraiths have been forced into retreat... for now.

The Haunted Faire has been updated with a new activity: Apple Bobbing.
There is also a new neoboard about the Haunted Faire. Our new Haunted Faire Guide has more information on the quests and goodies! Thank you johnwaffle for the info.

Happy Bori day! Two new colours for Bori to be painted at the Rainbow Pool, Maraquan and Silver

A new Key Quest Token is available at the NC Mall! Be sure to scamper over and pick up your Eliv Thade Key Quest Token for only 500 NC! Each token comes with a spiffy Eliv Thade Cloak to dress your pets with, too!

Get your free Glowing Jack-o-lantern Goodie Bag now at the NC Mall. Just click on the item and claim it.

Since the Goodie Bag only contains an NC item, you can claim it on side accounts aswell.

When the Battle Faerie avatar was first released, you could obtain it by refreshing the page you get to after having won a battle in the Battledome. Later this was changed to being randomly awarded after winning a battle (no more refreshing). Now, we received messages that you can once again obtain the avatar by refreshing the 'and the winner is...' page. Thank you johnwaffle for letting us know.

Update: By refreshing we mean that it's random while refreshing, you may get it after 3 refreshes, or after an hour. Who knows... be patient.

The 8th has started, so head over to the battledome to destroy more Minions, Brutes and Furies!

The Plot Guide is updated with the new prize. You can also win bonus items from battling the monsters after having reached the caps on all three challengers. Bonus items include codestones and neggs.

Glitch! If you can't seem to select your battle pet in the battledome drop down list, don't worry this is an easy to fix glitch that has been circulating. Simply remove your pet's weaponry and re-equip them.

Note: You won't be able to select your pet from the drop down list if your pet is sick, hungry, or out of hp (obviously). These situations are not glitches :P

 

The Shadow Wraith Fury has been spotted in the Battledome, starting difficulty is 40. We're adding info to our plot BD Challengers page shortly.


The Five of a Kind Fearless Deed is beating all 3 opponents at least 5 times.

Update:
You need to win or draw against all 3 opponents at least 5 times to get this Deed.

MiniMME4: The Trees Have Eyes Foreground has just morphed. Since this is a MiniMME, this will be it's only morph. The MiniMME morphed into three different stages: MiniMME4-S2: Rootbound Dress, MiniMME4-S2: Cloud of Ghostly Orbs and MiniMME4-S2: Spooky Tree Face Mask.


Within a few hours, the first stage of the MiniMME should appear in your inventory. If you're very lucky, you might receive the following bonus item as well: MiniMME4-B: Swallowed Up Background.
