We have a brand new user lookup for you to use, styled off the Maraquan Maiden NC Superpack.

Neopets is having glitches at the moment. Things that are known not to work are:
- NC Mall
- Changing passwords
- Logging in after having logged out
- Sending NC items that require you to fill in your password
- Portal view
- Keyquest


Update: Neopets appears to have gone down completely...
Update 2: It appears to be working again! The password related features are still not working however.

Premium members will receive an email with information about the upcoming removal of Premium Webmail accounts.

Webmail will no longer be available on (or shortly after) May 15th, 2012, and you will no longer have access to your neomail.com email address at that time.

• Saving Emails - If you'd like to save any of your emails, please be sure to back them up before then. You can do so by forwarding each message you'd like to save to your new email address. As an alternative method, there is also a link at the top of each email to 'View Message Source'. You can save that page to your hard drive.
   
• Saving Contacts - You may also want to save any contacts you have stored. To do this, click on the 'Address Book' link at the top of the page, and then on the 'Import/Export' button and follow the steps there. This will save your contact list as a CSV file, which can be imported into a number of other email applications.
   
• Set Up a New Address - Lastly, be sure to notify your family and friends of your new email address before Webmail shuts down! Otherwise, they'll think you're ignoring them and get upset and tell your cousin what a louse you are, who will tell your sister and then your sister will be mad at you for weeks and you'll have to find someone else weird enough to want your Mutant Tuskaninny and… *cough*. Sorry. Anyway, you get the idea.

So don't forget, back up your content by May 14th at the latest to be safe! If you have any questions about this or the new Premium service, the Premium FAQ has more information and is being updated regularly.

The Negg Journey's last mystery negg step has been released. It is a battledome step, where you need to defeat the neggbreaker. We are in the process of updating our Negg Journey Guide with all the information needed to complete this step. We will update this newspost when the guide is up to date.

Due to Neopets.com no longer partnering with a third party company, the following features will be removed:

• Webmail
• Portal (replaced by the Notification Bar!)
• Real-world Feeds
• Internet Dial-Up Service
• Aliases and Subaccounts

The big question: When? Changes will be happening mid May. Which means you have just under a month to wait. Don't forget that once the changes happen, you will no longer have access to your Premium Webmail account, be sure to save any contacts or emails that you wish to keep.

Existing members will also receive 30 days free membership, once the change
over has happened.

It appears that there were two Lawyerbot-themed smilies released last week for Lawyerbot Day, however nobody knew about the second one.

With the release of the new Lawyerbot Avatar we know that many of you are in a "Usuki Frenzy" at the moment.  However, here at SunnyNeo we have always been usuki fans and so have made this Shop and Gallery layout for you.  

For those of you who are keen on trying to figure out who took which negg where, we've made a Blank Logic Puzzle for you to figure out on your own. We have put together a Cheap Usuki Item List for the Lawyerbot <3 Usuki avatar thats been released.  Now you can get the avatar without having to spend hours and hours at the shop wizard.

It's raining in Maraqua, so the Drenched are available as a battledome challenger today! If you don't have the Drenched as a battledome challenger yet, be sure to visit Maraqua.

A new avatar featuring our favorite lawyerbot was released in the news.  Have 50 unique usuki items in your inventory and then view your inventory (NC items do NOT count).  You may have to throw them all in your SDB and pull them all out again, or refresh a few times.  If you still arent getting it, try adding a few more items.  Even those most people are getting it with 50 unique usuki items, a very small amount are not.  The avatar shows up at the bottom of your screen.  Thanks ava_ked for the information.

We've just whipped up a special Negg Journey guide. We will be adding more information to the guide as we find more information.

In addition to the Festival of Neggs, it seems like there will be a Quest for the Mysterious Negg. If you visit Zaira, the Negg Faerie Assistant, she will be able to tell you more. She has found a journal with cryptic entries...

Alright, now this is the part where it gets kind of sketchy, since the entries are very cryptic and can be hard to follow. It seems that the author of the journal came upon some sort of uber-powerful Negg, which had to be kept from falling into the wrong hands. The author gathered up a team, each of whom took a different Negg to one of Neopia's lands, making the original Negg harder to track. Beyond that, though, I can't really say... After examining the text in the journal more, it seems like the journal's entries could hold clues about the location of this supposed super Negg. Perhaps the truth of what's become of it could be figured out if someone did a proper investigation of the journal?

If you click the backpack, you will be taken to a new page, "Where the Journey begins".

 

Now that the team has been assembled, we've begun gathering our provisions, packing our things, and figuring out where the mysterious Clockwork Negg will be hidden (as well as who will be the one to protect it) . One thing we've decided is that, to throw off those that might seek out the relic, the team's remaining members will be taking different types of Neggs to four other destinations. For instance, the wizard of the team (whose name is Selvin) insisted on not going to the Lost Desert—something about a fear of Scamanders, apparently. That was fine with the rest of us, so it's been decided that the wizard would go elsewhere. Meanwhile a team member named Voughn, who appeared quite taken with the look of the cloud Negg, insisted on taking that one to its destination. Again, there was no argument from the rest of us, so that's settled.

It appears that there should be some sort of logic puzzle, but it's not up and running yet. We will keep you updated, and we will have a guide up as fast as possible.

We've just updated our Edolie's Phantastic Finds guide with a new feature. Many people were having problems finding the four daily required items. We've now added a map that lists what (what we hope are) all 90 different items. Daily we will update the guide with the newest prize, as well as the 4 locations you can find the items at.

Kari is back with her annual Festival of Neggs!

The Festival begins on April 2nd and ends on April 22nd. Day 1 will actually last a day and a half, running through April 3rd.

This year there will be 2 Negg Hunts - one for Patterned Plastic Neggs and another for Plain Plastic Neggs.  There will also be an NC portion to this event with the so-called "Real" Negg Faerie and his quest to use his Handy Negg Enlarger on Mini Neggs.  Check out the official FAQ for more details.

As a part of TNT's April Fools jokes yesterday, they "zapped" a random pet when you went to the lab ray. A random pet would be turned into a maraquan poogle, a strawberry mynci etc. This was of course supposed to be a joke, but there seems to have been a glitch that caused UCs (unconverted pets) to be converted when the April Fools joke was reversed. For some people, the glitch has resolved when they've tried to re-customise their pets, but for some, their previously UC pet seems to be converted. Rest assured, TNT is working on resolving this issue.


Edit: TNT is currently changing affected UC back to their former looks. If you have an UC pet which was affected by the April fools joke, please submit a ticket.
