At the moment, there is a glitch going on in the Battledome that can cause your Neopet to be stuck in battle after you've finished a battle.

This means the Healing Spring Fearie will refuse to heal your Pets, you can't do a Faerie Quest with the Pet you have stuck in battle and feed and equip any weapons to the Pet that got stuck.

If you do not want your Neopet to be become stuck, you might want to avoid the battledome for now.

On a brighter note, it looks like the lag many people were having with the battledome lately has been solved, meaning it won't take ages for pages to load. For more about the new battledome, have a look at our Battledome BETA coverage.

If you are on a Faerie Quest and don't want to wait or let any of your neopets get the stats, you can try the following:

• Open a window or tab with the Quick Reference page and change your active Neopet to any of your pets that's not in battle.
• Now go to the Faerie Quest page to finish your quest. 
• However, before giving the waiting faerie her item, switch back to the window or tab with the Quick Reference page.
• There you switch back Pets. Make sure your battle pet is your active Neopet again.
• Now you hand over the item to the Faerie. Because your battle pet is now your active Neopet again, this will be the Pet that is getting blessed by the Faerie.

Update: People have reported going to the status page will sometimes make you show up in battle, so you can choose to withdraw, which will fix the problem. You might need to refresh a few times at the status page for the battle to show up, or withdraw a few times before you are really withdrawn. People have reported switching browsers will help too.
Withdrawing in the battledome will count as a loss tough.

Games Master Challenge Update - We have extended the Games Master Challenge event. Now you have until 10 AM NST on Wednesday (November 28th) to send your scores! This also means that you have until that time to submit your scores to get credited for today's day and date prizes (and gold check marks). We apologize for the inconvenience and hope that you can still step in to help out your team. The results of this year's GMC will be revealed in Wednesday's news.

At the Neoboards, TNT staffmember Viola lets us know that TNT is working on fixing the broken games at Games Master Challenge. They have already changed Switcharoo into Flycatcher. Here's what Viola has said:

In response to a question on extending the time limit for today's GMC challenges:

Domino, we are looking into that. I know a lot of people in other countries are out of luck for the most part.

TNT is also going to look into fixing Wrath of the Snowager, so far no word on Crisis Courier though, which is also broken.

I've added Wrath of the Snowager to the list. Thanks for the heads up.

Update: A post has now also appeared on the The Official Neopets Team Message Board:

Hello Gamers, We are aware that some of the games aren't working at the moment. (These games are Jumpin Gem Heist, Ugga Drop, and Wrath of the Snowager.) We are working to get them fixed ASAP so that you can complete your challenges. We are also planning to extend the deadline for submitting on the day of release, but we won't know exactly what that extension will be until we are able to get the games fixed. Update 2: The games are now fixed, but there hasn't been any information on the time extension yet.

Update 3: The Neopets Team have confirmed that the period to complete the games has been extended. This was posted on The Official Neopets Team Message Board:

'ello again!  We have extended the deadline for completing your Day 5 challenges (for completing on the day of release) through the end of the day Monday (26th). Yay! Update: Switcharoo is replaced with Flycatcher, but because Ugga Drop is still glitched, this does not help in completing the challenge.


Unfortunately todays Games Master Challenge is full of glitches.

For team Ninja, you are supposed to play a game called Switcharoo, this game does not exist anymore. Ugga Drop seems glitched as well. You can therefore not complete the challenge.

Both teams have to play Jumpin' Gem Heist. This game is glitched and will not load. Therefore you can also not complete this challenge.

We've just made a brand new guide for everyone: NC Mall Retiring Items. In this guide you can see which items are only available temporarily. So if you want to get any you must make sure you don't forget to buy them in time.

As you can see in the guide the Super Sale at the NC Mall will end next Sunday (November 18th) and all items in it will then retire. With the end of the sale, also all the fall items will be removed from the mall.

The Mysterious Morphing Experiment, MME13-S1: Magical Shrunken Heads, has morphed. The first morph has three possible outcomes: Bubbling Skull Cauldron, Deadly Spell Foreground, and Petpet Voodoo Doll Garland.

There is a new Mystery Capsule to celebrate the new Battledome, called Battledome Gear Mystery Capsule. Right now, this capsule is selling in Future fashions, it will become availible in the regular NC mall within 72 hours.


This capsule gives out the following limited editions: Castle Battle Ruins Background, Chainmail Shoulder Armour, Golden Jewelled Flail and Warrior Wig and Helmet.

Since the start of closed beta testing of the new battledome, SunnyNeo has been compiling a list of all available Battledome Beta Prizes. Over the past few days our list has grown to quite enormous proportions, which has made us decide to make a separate page off it and split it from the Battledome Beta guide.

Aside from trying to make the list as complete as possible we are now trying to differentiate between regular prizes for each of the domes, and prizes you can only win from specific challengers. It's quite hard for us to determine which prizes you really cannot get from other challengers. So if you have any info on this, please contact us.

It seems that the Battledome Beta is giving out prizes again, well somewhat... When you finish a battle youre most likely to get a message saying "You have reached the item limit for today! You can continue to fight, but no more items can be earned." But if you then keep playing you might still get some prizes anyway. The daily limit is supposed to be 5.

A new item has just appeared in the NC Mall called a Faerie Element Battledome Claw which, when used in the Battledome, awards one of six exclusive NC items.


The six wearable prizes possibly awarded from this item are: Dark Battle Armour, Fiery Robe, Leafy Wooden Helmet, Powerful Force Field, Shield of Light and Spinning Water Chakram.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT ACCEPT/REJECT INCOMING TRANSFERS, LET THEM SIT. Read below for more.

Important update: The Transfer option in the pound now links to the Neopets.com front page, so they are aware of the issue. This means no more transfer requests should come in, but please do not reject any requests you have just yet until TNT gives the all clear.

Important update #2: Staff has posted that the issue is now resolved. You can read what TNT said about it by clicking here. I have tested this with my own pet and my Sparkshooter was dropped in my inventory this time. Please be careful with your transfers all the same and let us know if anything out of the ordinary happens when you trade.

Our newest staff member, _mariokart_, was just sent a Pet transfer for his main battle pet. He rejected the transfer and he noticed his customisation had gone out of whack. He went to check the Battledome, and all his weapons were gone. They weren't in his inventory, nor in his equips, nor safety deposit box, shop, etc.

Please block your User-to-User transfers for now until more information is known about this glitch. Only trade with people you trust.

Update 6:19 AM NST
I have just confirmed this glitch with my Eyrie, Majekul, and some worthless items.

1. Equipped Majekul with Leaf Shield + Sparkshooter, also equipped Fingerless Asparagus Gloves to see if my customisation would go out of whack too.
2. Had a friend send in a pet transfer.
3. Checked my battledome/quick ref: Pet was 'gone' because it was in the transfer momentarily, nothing in Closet.
4. Rejected, checked battledome: Pet back, items gone, customisation the same.

Update 7:50 AM NST
I just let my friend check her inventory: My items were right there. In her inventory. It basically lets you steal the other person's equipment, so please:

DO NOT ACCEPT/REJECT TRANSFERS. Transfers are automatically rejected if they are not accepted within 48 hours. We do not know if this automatic rejection will also steal your items, but we cross our fingers a solution will have been found before then!

Rumours came in that this also affects NC items (it does not affect NP items), so as a customiser, be very careful also!

On a happier note, I can no longer access the transfer a Neopet page, it just links me back to the Neopets homepage. This must mean TNT is aware of the issue and working on it!

The customisation team is having a little party: We've completed cleaning out the Paint Brush clothes PNG Model needed list!

With your help, we've managed to reduce the PNG needed list from a whopping 650 to a mere 130 within three weeks! Thank you EVERYONE that helped us out -- There were a lot of you, and we are incredibly grateful you were all willing to help!

We're working on a snazzy thank you for you to pick up if you have helped us with your models. They're not quite ready yet, but you'll see an announcement when they are! For now.. Have some fizz and chocolate!

We are, of course, always looking for more models! Especially for newer Species Specific Neopoint items and for NC Mall items from the past few months, so.. Take a look at what we still need right here! Who knows, you could have exactly that item we still need modelled!
