It appears that this time you only have the option of siding with either: The Seekers, the Thieves Guild, or the Order of the Red Erisim. Go to the Battleground of the Obelisk for more information on the factions, and watch their videos again. There is now a timer that lasts another 72 hours, and war will again break out once this timer goes down. 

You've chosen sides, and that has consequences. It looks like a lot of Neopets are interested in fighting you soon, so you might want to get in some last minute training.

Make sure your pets are all still well trained and your Battledome items are ready to use!

Well it seems TNT did not want to permanently retire those Limited Edition Key Quest tokens from the NC Mall. Today in Future Fashions is located the Limited Edition Silver Lupe Key Quest Token.

Inside this token is a new bonus item, the Jewelled Silver Wings. So if you missed out on the Key Quest tokens during their first run, you will have the next year to catch up on the Limited Edition tokens. Also keep in mind that the tokens will only contain the Jewelled Silver Wings, and will no longer give out the Ornate Silver Helmet. So if you have older Limited Edition Key Quest tokens that you have been saving, the items insdie them will change when the tokens get Rereleased.

The final Blumaroll case has been released. Blumaroll Case #6 is now available in future fashions. It awards one of three different limited edition items: Fancy Red and Black Top, Jewelled Shoulder Armour, and Radiant Sunflower Arbour. Our Future Fashions Guide has more information.

Maintenance Notice - Greetings from the Space Station! Our Maintenance Myncies had to call in some super special Database Grundos to help them work on the site. Since Grundos are quite efficient, they wanted to give you extra time to prepare! Tomorrow night (Wednesday, April 17th) starting at 11 PM NST, Neopets.com will be down for about two hours. Once the Grundos are done with their work (around 1 AM NST on Thursday) they will put the site back up, good as new! (The best part about Grundos is that there will be no banana peels to slip on afterwards. Hooray!)

Blumaroll Case #4 is bouncing your way! It is now out in Future Fashions with the chance to award one of three different bonus items: Flowering Spring Branch Wings, Solar Eclipse Staff, and Sparkling Carmariller Wig.

The prizes can now be collected by going to the Festival of Neggs page. If you collected all the prizes on release day, you will get all three prizes and the Festival of Neggs site theme. Our Festival of Neggs guide has been updated with these prizes.

Today is the last day of the Festival of Neggs. If you haven't yet, now is your chance to still collect all of Kari's and Pete's neggs for the prizes. In previous years, avatars have been given out to those who collected all neggs in a quest before the next quest was released. Also Festival of Neggs Site Theme was given out to those completing all quests on release day. Bonus items were also given out for collecting all neggs and for collecting all on release day.

This years bonus items have not yet been given out, neither has the site theme. According to the help section there will be bonus prizes though.

Hi, TNT! *throws Neggs* So, the Obelisk War was about... three weeks ago, I think? Are those Tyrannians still having trouble counting up the points, or are things just pretty hectic around the office with the Festival of Neggs and other site events around Neopia? I'm just anxious to find out the results; this has to be one of my favorite site events by far! ~jackjack1234 Nothing's interrupting our efforts! We're just still running the numbers. We had the faction winner figured out in the first day or two, and we're just as anxious to get the results out as you are! It's the individual points that take a while to get right. To give you a bit of context, it works something like this: We check on the massive amount of fight data we have and try to get a basic idea of the different buckets of participation we can put players in and what percentage of participants fall within these buckets. This is just a rough point we can start from, and then it gets crazy. We do a base set of point numbers, run sample queries and compare to various levels of participation, tweak numbers, re-run queries, run different queries to get more information on certain buckets, etc., etc. Some of those individual queries can take a while to run by themselves, so we work furiously, wait, work furiously again, wait some more... and that’s just for point values! After that, we have to actually price the prizes. During all of this, we're also working on building the prize shop and... some other things. We discovered long ago that to do it properly takes time. (Ask folks who were around for the Curse of Maraqua prize shop. ;_;) When we're comfortable with the numbers -- which we actually never are, so... comfortable enough -- and we think everyone will be justly rewarded for their efforts, then we'll release the prize shop. We definitely know it's a pain to wait, but we think that's better than being disappointed with your reward. We don't have an estimate right now. We're really trying to finish up by next week, but we can't tell yet if that will happen.
