A new round of skirmish is about to start. Visit the Battleground of the Obelisk until the end of Wednesday to choose your faction. Competing in this round will be the Brute Squad, the Seekers and the Thieves Guild.

Todays Editorial has made a small clarification on the frozen ranks issue that some users are experiencing: 

If flagged users are unable to advance to the next rank while playing in the Altador Cup, how are users who've already achieved all-star rank supposed to know whether they've been flagged if they are no longer advancing in rank anyway? I'm glad this question came up because there have been many worries about something like this. So, there is a message that will show up if you have been flagged that looks like this: Your account is marked for suspicious activity and will not be able to actively rank up. If you feel that you've been wrongly affected by this, you are welcome to write into our team for further clarification. Thank you! Also, there has been some modifications to the standings page which will make the day-to-day changes much more clear!

It's hard to say when people will be unfrozen, but the best advice we can offer to you all is to continue to play for your team and just hope that your ranks will be unfrozen and you will be rewarded for your time spent playing games.

Quick note: by-days are now classified as practice days.  Therefore, it appears you can no longer rank up on these days.  So take that into account that instead of a 25 day cup, it'll be about 22 days.  So if you are trying to reach a certain rank, you'll have to spread those lost 3 days out to other days.


Also, there have been responses from tickets sent in about the frozen ranks.  If you've been affected by the flagged ranking system this Altador Cup, play at your own risk.  There is no telling whether or not they will remove you from the flagged rank.  Weigh whether it is better to play with hope you get validated, but risk losing the time and effort you put into it if they don't; or if you don't want to play since you don't want to put in effort you could lose, only to get unflagged in the end and have less plays than you could have.

In an attempt to keep this year’s competition as clean as possible, TNT has been closely monitoring gameplay, which has resulted in certain accounts being put under review. The accounts in question, which were flagged for suspicious activity will not be able to actively rank up in our efforts to keep the competition fair. If you are experiencing this first hand, please understand that it is not a glitch.  What does this mean? It means if under review you can't rank up. It also means that we are monitoring this constantly, so if on an off-shot you are wrongly flagged you could be removed. That being said, there's no guarantee that you will be removed, for now you status remains as is. Adding to your report with why you've been wrongly flagged etc.. won't help here. Our security team is on the case and again, constantly looking over the data. Those decisions will be made on our end. Thank you.

Week 1 results are in for this years SunnyNeo Staff Tournament!  This was probably our closest battle between teams yet!  No one team stomped the other two.  Though, with current tradition, the team with Heroes in the title managed to take first place in this week.  Congratulations, Yooyu Heroes!  Followed very closely by Krazy Kaddy Kat Kadtastrophy, and very closely behind them, Seaweed Yooyuballs.  It is anyones game.  Can anyone take down a Heroes team?

However, if you feel that you’ve been wrongly affected by this, you are more than welcome to write into our team for further clarification. Thank you!

If you would like to send in a ticket, the best possible options are to send it under Bug Reports and then click Altador Cup. Never mind then, we're just sitting ducks. 

A new round of skirmish is about to start. Visit the Battleground of the Obelisk until the end of Wednesday to choose your faction. Competing in this round will be the Thieves Guild, the Order of the Red Erism and the Brute Squad.

TNT have clarified you need to discard your extra prizes from the glitched sign up.

I signed up for the Altador Cup and received a Mysterious Vibrant Collectable Scarab, which I happily put in my stamp album. A couple days later, I saw a note in the news indicating that some data was lost and that I should sign up again. I did that and received another Mysterious Vibrant Collectable Scarab. I have seen differing opinions on whether I am allowed to sell this item or whether I can be frozen for doing so. Can you please clarify? Thanks! Ah that have been a few questions about this, as well. So, to everyone that is unsure of what to do with your extra prize, the best course of action here is to just discard the extra prize that was handed out.

Since last night, there have been numerous reports of the ranking system not working properly for certain users. This is in reference to scores not being added in to your rank, but still counting for a daily total. We have also determined that this has nothing to do with minimum scores. As far as we know the minimum scores have not changed. This problem does not happen at a certain rank, during certain games, or to specific users. Most users are unaffected and ranks are still working properly, however for other users this has frozen their rank at a certain point. Our suggestion is to put in a ticket and for the meantime and keep playing. We hope TNT fixes this shortly!

The TNT Staff Tournament has returned for this year. The format is the same as the previous years: pick your own YYB team of Staff Members, and win points depended on how your players have played. Our TNT Staff Tournament guide has been updated for this year.

Yesterdays Editorial made it really clear that playing two games at the same time whether they are different games or not, it's against the rules. 

I know it's obviously against the rules to play two of the same game at the same time in different tabs, but is there a rule against playing different games at the same time? For example scoring a couple of games in Yooyuball while I wait for my customers to build up in Slushie Slinger, or playing a game of Shootout Showdown when there's a darigan yooyu that just refuses to go in the net in my game of Yooyuball? Any clarification on this would be fantastic! ~usukii Good question! There have been a lot of similar questions about playing two separate games in different tabs, windows, computers, etc. However, the answer will remain the same for all. You are only allowed to play one game at a time. Playing two games at once could lead to you being frozen and I would hate to see that happen. So, although it might take longer to finish a game before starting the next, it's a definite rule.

Thirdly, we had some late additions to the SunnyNeo Staff Tournament!  Three more people have joined the current teams - one each - and should be appearing there soon.  Faith is joining the Yooyu Heroes on team Kiko Lake, Emily is joining Krazy Kaddy Kat Kadtastrophy on Terror Mountain, and Kyra is joining the Seaweed Yooyuballs on Maraqua.

It's that time of year again! As of 4 AM this morning, the Altador Cup XII has begun. Unfortunately, the Altador Cup did start 4 hours later than usual. However, we here at SunnyNeo are more than excited to continue coverage on another wonderful year of games. Go out there and get scoring!

As a reminder, the caps and minimum scores for each game are as follows:

Yooyuball: 46 games / No minimum
Slushie Slinger: 86 games / 270 minimum
Make Some Noise: 401 games / 2,700 minimum
Shootout Showdown: 401 games / 35 minimum (1 goal)

The Neocash event for this years Altador Cup is the Homes of the Altador Cup Heroes, for 700 NC each. The first pass is the Altador Cup Heroes Mystery Island Pass. Remember to help us out and Model for us!

This years matches are a "Round Robin," where each team will face each other once and then we will have final matchups. Good luck to all those competing this year!
