Krawk Island faced Tyrannia, cannons blazing, and came away with wins in all of the games except for Shootout Showdown.

Altador won every game during a heated (*ahem*) match with Moltara.

Brightvale and Maraqua, both strategic teams, squared off with equal vigor, though the scholars ultimately only conceded one game, Shootout Showdown.

Historical rivals Meridelll and Darigan Citadel had a hard-fought match; the traditional victor of the wars, Meridell, won this match, too. Darigan stopped a sweep with a Shootout Showdown victory.

Faerieland's traditional strength in Slushie Slinger proved an asset in their match with Mystery Island, as they were able use it stop a sweep by the islanders.

Similarly, Roo Island was able to use their Slushie Slinger strength against Haunted Woods to prevent a sweep by that team.

No such luck showed itself to Lost Desert, however, as Kiko Lake won every game against them.

Terror Mountain, though, continued the general trend of the day and took Slushie Slinger from Kreludor in an otherwise Kreludor-centric match.

Shenkuu came away with similar results, staving off a sweep by Virupets with a Slushie Slinger win.

Amazing playing, all!

Hello al! I'd like to apologize for my absence over the last few days. Some technical issues plus life stuff arose, but I'm pleased to say I'm back for the time being, and happy to get this show back on the road, haha.

The following report is for the results of day eight of the tournament (6/9/22):

Krawk Island emerged from their match with the home team, Altador, with decisive wins in all four games.

Brightvale took all of the games from Virtupets except for Shootout Showdown. They scored in the double digits in Make Some Noise again, earning an eleven in that game.

Darigan Citadel took Yooyuball, Make Some Noise, and Shootout Showdown from Kiko Lake, but the Kikos showed they're no slouches at slinging slushies, disrupting Darigan's attempt at a sweep.

Faerieland won every game in their match with Moltara. Their bye day pep talk is said to have played a role in the team's newfound confidence.

Haunted Woods relented every game to Lost Desert, with close results in Yooyuball.

Kreludor doubled down and didn't relinquish a single game to Shenkuu, though only by a digit in Yooyuball and Slushie Slinger.

In yet another clean sweep, Maraqua took all of the games from Tyrannia, though, again, just one digit defined their win in Yooyuball.

Meridell, the definitive powerhouse of this cup, won every game against Terror Mountain. We're not counting Terror Mountain out just yet, however, as we still believe they have plenty to bring to the table.

Roo Island may have only come away with a Slushie Slinger win against Mystery Island, but, to repeat the general pattern of the day, their loss in Yooyuball was only by a digit.

Fantastic work, everyone, and all the best to all teams!

In a battle of the islands between Krawk Island and Mystery Island, Krawk Island was able to take Slushie Slinger, Make Some Noise, and Shootout Showdown, leaving Mystery Island with a Yooyuball victory.

In another thematic battle, light vs. darkness, Darigan Citadel triumphed over Altador in Yooyuball, Slushie Slinger, and Shootout Showdown, but the Altadorians, eager to avoid a sweep, fought back in Make Some Noise, taking that game.

Brightvale, continually proving this year that they are anything but rusty, won all of the games in their match with Faerieland.

In an overall close match, Maraqua took Yooyuball, Make Some Noise and Shootout Showdown from Haunted Woods, though Haunted Woods proved better at serving their fans slushies and took a clear-cut win in Slushie Slinger.

Kiko Lake went up against the Virtupets space station and scored a win in Slushie Slinger, conceding the other three games.

The Kreludor vs. Meridell match was definitely one a lot of us were watching. Meridell won in Yooyuball, Slushie Slinger, and Shootout Showdown, with Kreludor winning Make Some Noise, scoring a twelve in that game, the highest score recorded so far this season.

Terror Mountain succumbed to the heat in their match with the Lost Desert, with the latter taking Yooyuball, Slushie Slinger, and Shootout, but the former put a stop to a potential sweep with a Make Some Noise win.

In a battle of steam-powered technology vs. more primitive ways, Tyrannia was able to win every game against Moltara.

A classic rivalry came into play in the Shenkuu vs. Roo Island match, culminating in Slushie Slinger, Make Some Noise, and Shootout Showdown wins for the former, and a decisive Yooyuball win for the latter.

Another exciting day! Have fun out there, everyone!

Just keep swimming!

Darigan Citadel won their match against Maraqua, proving their strength in Yooyuball, Slushie Slinger, and Shootout Showdown. The scrappy Maraquans proved their mettle in Make Some Noise, however.

Krawk Island and Terror Mountain had a fierce match, with the pirates taking Yooyuball, Slushie Slinger, and Shootout Showdown. Terror Mountain refused to relent in Make Some Noise, though, taking that game.

Brightvale and Altador, two lands dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge, had quite an intense match as well, with Brightvale emerging victorious in all four games.

Virtupets bested Lost Desert in Yooyuball, Make Some Noise, and Shootout Showdown, with the desert dwellers taking Slushie Slinger. Reports are surfacing of the two teams' Wockies enjoying a friendly rivalry.

Meridell, ever the powerhouse, took all of the games from Faerieland, though the latter is refusing to be seen as a team to be underestimated.

Kiko Lake proved their doubters wrong yet again and triumphed over Moltara in all four games. Rumor has it that Moltara is eager to redefine their strategy going forward.

Mystery Island, an emerging powerhouse, was bested by Haunted Woods in Make Some Noise, while taking the three other games.

Shenkuu and Tyrannia went all out in their match. Shenkuu won Yooyuball, Slushie Slinger, and Make Some Noise, but Tyrannia worked to avoid a sweep with a win in Shootout Showdown.

Kreludor took all four games from Roo Island, putting up some high numbers in the process, with the Roos relenting in Yooyuball by a mere digit.

Again, it was great to be able to report on all of these matches! I'm wowed by all the effort everyone has put forth for their team thus far. Good luck to all!

We could all use a little sunshine right now.

Krawk Island ultimately bested Virtupets with wins in Slushie Slinger and Shootout Showdown, but the robots put up a valiant effort against the pirates and took Yooyuball and Make Some Noise.

Maraqua took Yooyuball, Make Some Noise, and Shootout Showdown from Altador, but Altador proved they are not to be underestimated with a superior showing in Slushie Slinger.

Meridell and Brightvale are both off to a wonderful start with high numbers across the board. Meridell had the advantage in Yooyuball, Slushie Slinger, and Shootout Showdown, while Brightvale rallied their fans for some superior cheering in Make Some Noise, earning a ten in the game, the highest score of the first day. Both of these teams are definitely worth keeping an eye on as the tournament progresses.

Kiko Lake is also a team to watch as they took all of the games from Shenkuu in a close match. Shenkuu is prepared to win some games going forward though, so definitely watch out for them.

Faerieland staved off a sweep against Roo Island with a win in Shootout Showdown. Both teams displayed the sportsmanslike conduct expected of them throughout the match.

Kreludor took every game from Tyrannia but the latter is confident they can rally back from the loss and gain back some of their former strength.

Haunted Woods proved to be more terrifying than Terror Mountain with wins in Yooyuball and Make Some Noise. Terror Mountain put up quite the fight regardless, demonstrating the prowess needed to win in Slushie Slinger and Shootout Showdown.

The heat was definitely on in the Moltara and Lost Desert match. Moltara was unable to make a dent in any of the games, unfortunately, but the first day is not always accurate to a team's true strength so we'll be keeping on eye on them.

Mystery Island prevailed against Darigan Citadel with wins in Slushie Slinger and Make Some Noise. Darigan Citadel, however, proved a force on the field, with clear victories in Yooyuball and Shootout Showdown.

Proudly possessing both pens and swords!

We have another team! The powerhouse pair of two long-time members: Corine, an all-around talented player who's specializing in Customization for the moment, and Jocinto, another well-rounded player used to all kinds of situations. I don't think anything will surprise these two; they're ready to play!

Also, we're now looking for submissions for the SunnyNeo Altador Cup Customization Spotlight! We're looking for customizations featuring items other than the usual team gear this time around. In addition, we are going back to classic-themed and are going to have ONLY ONE winner per team instead of two (NP Only and NC Included).

We're excited to see everyone's submissions!
