I wish I could stop giving Glitch Updates but it's not going to happen anytime soon I'm afraid. So, we were just sent an update on the trading post glitch. The trading post glitch is when you have offered on a trade and your offer is rejected or not the winning offer, you will not receive your neopoints back but they will disappear. This happens randomly, which doesn't mean it happens all the time. Lil_missi911333 let us know the glitch can also affect those who sell items at the trading post (read below).
| I would like to report an addition glitch in the trading post that happened to me just yesterday. Someone offered a codestone and 590,000 neopoints on my baby paint brush. I accepted. I received the codestone, but not the neopoints. This neomail is just to let you know the person selling can also be affected by a nasty glitch in the trading post, as well as people offering. |
As mentioned before the 5k glitch is still going on for some people, while others are receiving refunds (read earlier newsposts) and also the apostrophe glitch in guilds, which was supposingly fixed according to the Neopian Times is also not fixed.
On the bright side, here at SunnyNeo we have more plot related adoptables for you, it's Gorix and Cybunny Scout!
We also just added a new Random Event to our page. It is a random event in which The Darkest Faerie makes one of your pets ill. To stay on the glitch topic.. Yes it has a broken image, tnt's fault.

Yes we are aware that the layout of Neomail has changed, but thanks for notifying us.. all of you :P What may be important about this change is that all neomails in folders will be deleted after 90 days! This means you can no longer use them to store important neomails.
Maybe I shouldnt have said anything, the 5k glitch started again! Well.. to bring some good news, we have just added some extra buttons to the Sloth Plot Goodies Page.
We've just relesed a Return of Dr. Sloth Plot Goodies page! Which means we have lots of graphics to go with it. Ten icons, 4 support badges, a mood indicator, and a guild layout! And of course don't forget the userlookup we've already released. Enjoy :)

Just to let you know that there are multiple glitches going on neopia that could cause you to lose many neopoints. First of all the trading post glitch which I mentioned before which started around January 25th. If your offer is not the winning/accepted offer, your neopoints will not be returned to you, instead they disappear. This is not always the case, but it happens to many people.
Now there is also a new glitch, this glitch will reset the neopoints you have on hand (outside the bank) to 5K. This could happen at any random time, but it doesn't mean it will happen to everyone. So if you're carrying 600k on hand, you could lose 595k within seconds.
It would be wise to keep as much of your neopoints in the bank, and to stay away from the trading post. If either of these glitches have occured to you, send a Bug Report to TNT. Please note that TNT rarely gives refunds, and you will most likely not get your money back. But by sending in bug reports, there may be a chance they will fix either of these two problems.

The game Smug Bug Smite just went up for Beta Testing for Premium users. The object of the game is to quickly shoot at two bugs with the weapon of your choice. If you shoot them within time, you will move on to the next round. Currently there are only 3 levels, of which the last one is pretty hard because you need to shoot the bug really quickly or you lose. Altogether completing this game takes only a few minutes, it isn't all that exciting since its just very simple: shoot twice - move on. Below you can see some screenshots and the official neopets description.
The Bug Brothers have some of the stickiest fingers in Neopia – they just can't resist grabbing Neopoints out of the pockets and purses of unsuspecting Neopians. Here's your chance to teach these insidious insect siblings a lesson and return the stolen money to its rightful owners. Choose your weapon, take aim, and start doling out some justice to those smug bugs!

| Hi, I just wanted to let you all know this isn't a joke, there really is a glitch going on, and it's been happening to me and many others since last Thursday (02/14). It's not happening to everyone, it seems to be sporadic, but to the people it *is* happening to, it is happening continuously. I had 249k np on hand last Thursday, and went to do a couple of dailies. I had a couple of browser tabs open, and I went to Test Your Strength. I was going to do another daily, when I suddenly noticed that my np on hand now read 5k. I looked back at my other tab, and it still showed my 249k, I refreshed that page, and my np on hand then showed 5k on that page as well. I had lost 244k, it just disappeared. I made a board and asked if other people were experiencing this, and I got many responses from people who had lost much more than I. Since Thursday, it has continued to happen. If I get anything over 5k on hand (from winning a game or random event) within a few moments, it resets back to 5k. It *is* a real issue, please be careful with your np on hand. It can happen anywhere. You might be able to browse the site for 5 minutes with no problems, then your np can get reset back to 5k, or it can happen within second of you taking out more than 5k. Some people are just logging in, to find that whatever np they'd had on hand the evening before, had been reset to 5k. No, it doesn't raise your np at all, only takes it away. I've been wandering around with 13np since yesterday, and it definitely hasn't gone up. |

I have just redone the modifier charts for the plot again. You are now able to enter your Key and Target symbol, and the charts will pull up only the combinations that will work for you. This should make it easier to find the combinations you are looking for, also the table will load much quicker now. Be sure to read the instructions at the top of the charts!
A reminder that the Valentines Avatar has just been activated, you can get it by sending someone a Puppyblew "I Love You (Animated)" Neogreeting today or tomorrow, February 14th.
We were notified by xmastree that Commander Gormos has an entry in the Gallery of Heroes. Here you can read that Gormos freed Cylara and Gorix from the Space Station (this means they will most likely get caught in a future episode of the plot). It also mentions someone is keeping an eye on Gormos.

As some of you may have noticed Brucey B Slots and Black Pawkeet Slots have disappeared from the games room. Why is this? In the neomail from TNT you can see in the picture below you can read that new and improved versions of these games are being made! Hurrah! I finally updated the Background information page with the newest characters (sorry I bruised my wrist and couldn't type). This update is very interesting however! My research makes me suspect that Commander Gormos will betray Dr. Sloth in the future, very interesting indeed. Don't you think?

Other news, the Trading Post is still glitchy! The reports I posted before about neopoints not being returned are still valid. TNT has not yet fixed the problem, anyone trading, beware! If your offer is not the winning/accepted offer, your neopoints will not be returned to you, instead they disappear. This is not always the case, but it happens to many people. Losses have gone into millions.
Also, a small update on our Plot Modifier Charts, all of them now come with a brief instruction on how to use them, we hope they are less confusing for you now.

We started working on the plot steps for chapter 3. They are not finished yet, we are up to the mod 3 stuff, and havent had time to pass tht step yet and are still trying to think of the best ways to help you guys out with this part of the plot. On that note, we have a warning to give out. Some people have made calculators that you just plug in your stuff and it gives you the correct answer for this step in the plot. These are NOT allowed by neo. Here is a neomail response one of our staff got regarding this. If you want to see a bigger version so you can read it better then click on it.

We have updated our Key Quest Guide with the new information we have gathered. In the latest Editorial TNT has invalidated the rumours that Key Quest will mean a revamp of the whole site, or that you need to buy merchandise to be able to play the game. Also a Key Quest FAQ category has appeared in the Neopets FAQ.
You might have also noticed that your lookup has had a small revamp to show off how many Key Tokens you currently have and a change in some other images.

First of all I would like to bring your attention to updates on the story about the Draik Morphing Potions. Earlier we reported about the Neopian Times editorial who had mentioned that Draik Morphing Potions could only be used on Draiks and not on other pets. Due to an email conversation between the user Wefix and a Neopets Staffmember we are now happy to tell you TNT has changed their mind and is turning everything back to the old situation! If you would like to read these emails you can visit the Information page that we have set up that shows screenshots of these emails.
You will be able to use us to *morph* pets again, not just to paint Draiks!
Secondly, as you may have noticed there is a new Chapter of the plot released. There are no new steps thusfar, but you can read the comic.
The Background Information page has been updated with two new general characters: Cylara and Commander Garoo. There is also more information about the mysterious person in the back of last image of the first comic.
Also on Neopets you can find some changes regarding the plot. The Space Station has had a revamp and a Plot Neoboard has been created.
Garoo: the Space Station is ours! Muhahaha!
