Alas! TNT recently disallowed a big list of words which are commonly used in petlookups, userlookups, galleries, petpages and shops. They did this to prevent scammers from placing a picture of a Paint Brush over a Pile of Dung.

Due to this change most of our premade graphics won't work anymore. Luckily TNT let pre-existing codes alone, so your lookups will still look the same. However you can't change your existing lookups.

The following words are now added to the filters:
visibility
position
display
opacity
margin
margin-left
margin-top
margin-right
margin-bottom
and the list continues with some other words.

Currently we don't have a fix for our codings. For now we will wait if TNT tackles the scam and will change the filters again, so we can have nice lookups again.

Update: I was told you can circumvent the filter by prefixing it with a # symbol. I haven't had the time to test if this works in Firefox. It does however seem to work in Internet Explorer

Update: Prefixing the words with a # symbol works for IE but messes the lookup for Firefox, so there is no universal fix yet.
It also seems you can not update anything else in your profile, without 'fixing' your lookup code.

Also, we have an update on the transfer option of the pound. Before you could only transfer a pet once a month. After being transferred the pet would say that it 'didn't feel like being transferred now'. This ban has been lifted and you can transfer an individual pet every day now.
This does not mean that the limits to transfer for accounts are also lifted! You can still only transfer and receive one pet on your account each month.
The new change only comes in handy for pets that are being transferred around from person to person as borrowed avatars pets.

Finally, while I reported about the re-release of Techo Says! on the news yesterday, there were no images available then. Well there are now! Above you can see the play button and trophy. Expect this game to be released very soon.

Yes you did read the title of this post correctly! We have found an unreleased avatar on the neopets server! As you can see below it is Altador Cup themed. It could possibly be awarded to Altador Cup players after the tournament (that starts in June) has ended. Maybe it will even be only awarded to players of the winning team. However, we cannot be sure what this avatar will be used for, or if it will be released at all. Let's hope so! Be sure to participate in the Altador Cup when it starts!

Other news, a while ago our P3 Habitats guide had been updated with unreleased P3 Habitats NC Mall items.

The 1000th Neopets Game is coming up. This milestone will be celebrated with a redo of Neopia's first game, Techo Says!. You can check the old game in the Games Graveyard, or here. Another game that is coming up is Save the Petpet, unfortunately that's all the info we have on that.

Yes, it really is yet another version of destruct-o-match! And we probably should be expecting the avatar to become unavailable like our beloved korbats lab av. But, let's check out the new game! This is the neopets description:

Mass hysteria broke out among the citizens of Tyrannia today, as they awoke to discover their most beloved landmarks blocked by huge piles of mysterious boulders! Hungry Neopians were turned away empty-handed from the Giant Omelette, and music lovers were disappointed to find the Concert Hall completely clogged with stones. Where the boulders came from is unknown, but Tyrannia's Council of Elders is begging fellow Neopians to come to Tyrannia and smash them!

The game has 2 new modes: Double Trouble and Double Trouble Extreme. In these two modes you get two sets of boulders to destroy next to each other. Double trouble resembles the normal (non-timed) mode doubled, and extreme double trouble resembles the timed extreme mode being doubled. Also, there's an entirely new set of powerups that complement the older powerups from previous versions.

There are some important announcements that have been placed on the neopets news that I think are important to place here as a reminder for those who havent seen them.

First of all, the Altador Cup prize shops are closing! Everyone who has not spend their points yet must do so before May 23rd. Altador Cup I, Altador Cup II. Yes, this means that Altador Cup III is coming up!

Secondly, neopets has decided to change their rules regarding pet trading. Before, you were not allowed to trade pets, but now you are. You can read about this, in Neopian Times #342. Be sure that you don't get scammed by someone who promises to give you their pet but in the end does not.

Finally, in this same issue of the Neopian Times you can read that extreme petpage applications are no longer allowed. Yes, people with pets up for adoption are allowed to ask people to write a short story about why they would like this pet, but they're no longer allowed to ask for extreme petpage applications with art, poetry, roleplaying etc.

Also, here's a warning hkevin10 send us about the new Pound. If you're adopting or receiving tranferred pets, this is very important. Read Carefully!

For those of you that might not have seen this... there's a new thing evil, mean people are doing. They're transfering pets with pet pages containing disallowed stuff so the new owners will get frozen. I advise you to check the pet pages of any pets you might adopt in the future or have adopted in the past. Petpages no longer reset automatically!
