In addition to our lovely new Petpet Puddle we have also created a nice PPL List for all to use. No more searching page through page to find out if your petpet won or not! Our newly created list allows you to sort and search, very easily!

We have also been notified of some really sad news by sassofrasso. In 2009 the Italian/Japanese/Korean version of neopets will no longer be updated and the neoboards in these languages will be removed from the site. All that pages currently in these languages will stay but wont be updated (this includes contests). We feel bad for all Neopians that are unable to read English :(

All staffmembers at SunnyNeo would like to wish everyone a happy 2009! We have something very special planned to start 2009 with, so keep watching this space!

The holidays might be coming to an end but winter is still here! And as such, Taelia has graced us with a new wintery userlookup!

As you may know, we have been working on making new fonts for all of the older avatars with plain arial fonts. While the entire project is not yet finished, we can release what we have so far, found on page 7 of the Secret Avatars/Fonts page. But if you miss those old fonts, don't fret! They have merely been moved to the Old Fonts page.

At long last, a Petpet Puddle that lists all the petpets, not just the paintable ones!  We have included the Petpet Protection League (PPL) info for past winners.  More complete than the Neopets version of the Petpet Puddle (listing lab-only colors and unpaintable petpets), and also much more complete than the Neopets “All Petpets” listing, as our Puddle includes rare petpets.  Hope you enjoy!
Today the Advent Calendar gives out the Seasonal Attack Pea avatar, so if you don't have this avatar yet be sure to collect your prizes today!

The Advent Calendar is giving out a new Key Quest token today (18th december 2008). This token is the Ylana Skyfire token. This token is under the special collection of your Key Quest Collector's Case.

A new free neocash item has just appeared in the NC Mall. The item is called a Sparkling Holiday Stocking, and it contains some Christmas items (2 normal neopoint items and a neocash item called Modern Sculpture Holiday Hat). The stocking was glitched before, but now you can retrieve it without problems. Hurrah!

Today the Advent Calendar is having some problems, the animation is not loading  and the prizes are not being given away. Apparently the error was fixed around 6.16 pm NST. Anyone who hadn't yet collect their prizes received the items, everyone who already tried to, didn't get anything but was sent given the items by TNT later on. We were told they are doing this alphabetically, so if you have not yet received the items, you may still get them. If you didn't attempt to collect your prize, you won't get anything. Please do not neomail us about this, we do not work for Neopets and cannot influence the way they are giving out those prizes, use one of the contact forms of neopets instead.

Secondly, if you have purchased the game Neopets Puzzle Adventure there is a surprise waiting for you if you complete the game. You will be rewarded with a wonderful new Site Theme! We have a lovely preview for you here.


We just updated all the style tags on our Shop / Gallery Layouts page. This means you are able to use all the codes without any filter issues from neopets! Hurrah!

Toys R Us in the United States (maybe Canada, we don't know) will be holding another sale on their Neopets Plushies. The sale will start Friday December 12th starting at 3:00pm and it lasts till Saturday December 13th at 3:00pm. The sale will be, buy one plushie; get one free! You will also get a free Neopets poster with your neopets plushie purchase, this poster comes with a rare item code. Not all stores will be participating, so you may want to call your local store to confirm.


Secondly, as some of you may have noticed my account was frozen for about a day, because of a horrible trick someone pulled on me. I would like to warn everyone about this, to make sure this does not happen to you. Apparently, there are horrible people on neopets who will tell you that they've made an award for you, because you have a nice font, lookup, anything. Then when you proudly display the award on your petpage for instance, they will change the image and turn it into something nasty. The result of which is that your account gets frozen. So, my advice is not to be as gullible as me and to believe that someone who would make you an award is a nice person. If someone gives you an award, save it on your computer and re-upload it yourself before you display it. If you want to know how to upload images, check out Uploading Images Tutorial. This does not only go for awards, ANYTHING someone else makes you, fan art, an adoptable, a banner; take control of the image, make sure the other person can no longer access the image.


Also, there are some people who are experiencing problems with the Nutcracker Superpack they have purchased at the NC Mall. Two problems are the superpack not opening, or not receiving all items. If you are one of the people who is having trouble, please refer to this neoboard.

It appears that Neopets is replacing all neopet shopkeepers in Petpet Park with petpet versions. Because of this, we have (with the help of bryan_cuties) replaced the screenshots in our Petpet Park Guide. We also have some new screenshots of Groomtopia, which has just opened for public.

Secondly, Neopets has made an important alteration to the Pound. When transferring a painted pet which normally comes with clothing, such as pirate, desert or island. Your transferred pet will now always take these deluxe clothes with him in the transfer, even if the pet is not actually wearing the clothes. The only way to move a pet with deluxe clothes to another account without the clothing set, is to pound the pet. Our Neopian Pound guide has been updated accordingly.

A new Terror Mountain board has been added to the open beta version of Keyquest, allowing you to play in a winter wonderland. While this new board is really cute, there is more that has changed. Keyquest is now giving out winter prizes. Every time you redeem a key, one (or more) of the prizes you will receive will be a winter prize. We have just collected an overview of possible winter prizes at our Keyquest Prizelist.

As you guys know, December has just started which means that it is time to visit the Advent Calendar daily. By doing this you will earn yourself some lovely prizes and neopoints every day. At the end you may receive the Winter Site Theme if you visited the calendar every day (this is not confirmed, but going every day without missing one day surely increases your chances). We will also be keeping track of all advent calendar prizes on our Advent Calendar Guide. Among today's prizes is the lovely Fir avatar.
