Below you can see an overview of all the different random event's you can receive while surfing around Neopia. This page is divided into different categories, so click on the category of your choice and random events with explanations will appear.
If you receive any random events that are not shown on this page, or if you have any extra information about the random events listed on this page please take a screenshot and save the source of the page, then
contact us. Extra information could be for example, that you have a number of neopoints that got stolen from you
outside the range listed on this page. Before you contact us, please make sure the random event is not listed in any of the other categories.
This guide has been archived and might no longer be maintained. These are all of the old random events, and most have been migrated in 2014 to the new Random Events system. Please see our

Receive Neopoints
This category features random events that give you neopoints. This page does not show Winter or Tyrannian events that give you neopoints.

The random events shown below give you a certain amount if neopoints, this amount is added to your total neopoints on hand (not in the bank).

Tooth Faerie:
If you are lucky, the Tooth Faerie may visit you, and leave you some Neopoints. Our records tell us that the amount of neopoints she gives you will be somewhere between 65 and 219 neopoints. Don't worry, your pets wont actually lose any teeth. If you are really lucky, the Tooth Faerie will give you an avatar instead of neopoints.

Illusen:
Everyone knows that Illusen is a kind and generous Earth Faerie, but did you know that she also gives out neopoints to the poor? If you have fewer than 5,000 neopoints, Illusen will add to them, so after you get this random event, you will be carrying 5,000 neopoints with you. If you had more than 5,000 neopoints when you got this event, you will get nothing.

Golden Pteri:
Pteri owners are in luck when it comes to this random event. The Golden Pteri gives out neopoints to people with Pteri's. If you do not have a Pteri if you get this random event, the Golden Pteri will just fly over, and nothing will happen.

Secret Mystery Island Treasure:
The random event below shows you that you have found the Secret Mystery Island Treasure. Contrary to what you might think, you can find this random event anywhere on the site; not just on Mystery Island.

Shop of Offers:
If you visit the
Shop of Offers, there are two different events that can happen. In the first one the Slorg gives you 50 neopoints, in the second he gives you 100 neopoints.
