Just to let you know that there are multiple glitches going on neopia that could cause you to lose many neopoints. First of all the trading post glitch which I mentioned before which started around January 25th. If your offer is not the winning/accepted offer, your neopoints will not be returned to you, instead they disappear. This is not always the case, but it happens to many people.
Now there is also a new glitch, this glitch will reset the neopoints you have on hand (outside the bank) to 5K. This could happen at any random time, but it doesn't mean it will happen to everyone. So if you're carrying 600k on hand, you could lose 595k within seconds.
It would be wise to keep as much of your neopoints in the bank, and to stay away from the trading post. If either of these glitches have occured to you, send a Bug Report to TNT. Please note that TNT rarely gives refunds, and you will most likely not get your money back. But by sending in bug reports, there may be a chance they will fix either of these two problems.

The game Smug Bug Smite just went up for Beta Testing for Premium users. The object of the game is to quickly shoot at two bugs with the weapon of your choice. If you shoot them within time, you will move on to the next round. Currently there are only 3 levels, of which the last one is pretty hard because you need to shoot the bug really quickly or you lose. Altogether completing this game takes only a few minutes, it isn't all that exciting since its just very simple: shoot twice - move on. The Bug Brothers have some of the stickiest fingers in Neopia – they just can't resist grabbing Neopoints out of the pockets and purses of unsuspecting Neopians. Here's your chance to teach these insidious insect siblings a lesson and return the stolen money to its rightful owners. Choose your weapon, take aim, and start doling out some justice to those smug bugs!

| Hi, I just wanted to let you all know this isn't a joke, there really is a glitch going on, and it's been happening to me and many others since last Thursday (02/14). It's not happening to everyone, it seems to be sporadic, but to the people it *is* happening to, it is happening continuously. I had 249k np on hand last Thursday, and went to do a couple of dailies. I had a couple of browser tabs open, and I went to Test Your Strength. I was going to do another daily, when I suddenly noticed that my np on hand now read 5k. I looked back at my other tab, and it still showed my 249k, I refreshed that page, and my np on hand then showed 5k on that page as well. I had lost 244k, it just disappeared. I made a board and asked if other people were experiencing this, and I got many responses from people who had lost much more than I. Since Thursday, it has continued to happen. If I get anything over 5k on hand (from winning a game or random event) within a few moments, it resets back to 5k. It *is* a real issue, please be careful with your np on hand. It can happen anywhere. You might be able to browse the site for 5 minutes with no problems, then your np can get reset back to 5k, or it can happen within second of you taking out more than 5k. Some people are just logging in, to find that whatever np they'd had on hand the evening before, had been reset to 5k. No, it doesn't raise your np at all, only takes it away. I've been wandering around with 13np since yesterday, and it definitely hasn't gone up. |
