All the faeries at the Faerie Festival have turned to stone. What is going on? New mini-plot maybe?

Edit: It seems many places on the Faerieland map are currently not available, they give the following message:
It appears Faerieland isn't the only place to have this problem, faeries in other lands have been turned into stone as well.
