IMPORTANT: DO NOT ACCEPT/REJECT INCOMING TRANSFERS, LET THEM SIT. Read below for more.
Important update: The Transfer option in the pound now links to the Neopets.com front page, so they are aware of the issue. This means no more transfer requests should come in, but please do not reject any requests you have just yet until TNT gives the all clear.
Important update #2: Staff has posted that the issue is now resolved. You can read what TNT said about it by clicking here. I have tested this with my own pet and my Sparkshooter was dropped in my inventory this time. Please be careful with your transfers all the same and let us know if anything out of the ordinary happens when you trade.
Our newest staff member, _mariokart_, was just sent a Pet transfer for his main battle pet. He rejected the transfer and he noticed his customisation had gone out of whack. He went to check the Battledome, and all his weapons were gone. They weren't in his inventory, nor in his equips, nor safety deposit box, shop, etc.
Please block your User-to-User transfers for now until more information is known about this glitch. Only trade with people you trust.

Update 6:19 AM NST
I have just confirmed this glitch with my Eyrie, Majekul, and some worthless items.
1. Equipped Majekul with Leaf Shield + Sparkshooter, also equipped Fingerless Asparagus Gloves to see if my customisation would go out of whack too.
2. Had a friend send in a pet transfer.
3. Checked my battledome/quick ref: Pet was 'gone' because it was in the transfer momentarily, nothing in Closet.
4. Rejected, checked battledome: Pet back, items gone, customisation the same.

I just let my friend check her inventory: My items were right there. In her inventory. It basically lets you steal the other person's equipment, so please:
DO NOT ACCEPT/REJECT TRANSFERS. Transfers are automatically rejected if they are not accepted within 48 hours. We do not know if this automatic rejection will also steal your items, but we cross our fingers a solution will have been found before then!

Rumours came in that this also affects NC items (it does not affect NP items), so as a customiser, be very careful also!
On a happier note, I can no longer access the transfer a Neopet page, it just links me back to the Neopets homepage. This must mean TNT is aware of the issue and working on it!
