Can you believe it's Day 5 already? The first round of matches officially ended last night, leaving us with our first official results standings! That also makes today our first "bye" day, meaning while your scores today will count towards your rank, they will not count towards your teams' standing in Altador Cup X. This is why you are playing the practice team! And you thought you got rid of all non-descript yellow Chias. Let's take a look at how everyone played yesterday!
Alabriss Bracket
Yet again this bracket showed up with another round of sweeps, this time flipping Team Krawk Island on to the winners' side of things! Sorry Team Moltara, seems our pirates are not afraid of fire. Hopefully KI can bring the rocky seas to our competitors even more next round! Team Roo Island was kicked down a notch, getting sweeped around by Team Lost Desert all day. They are not a broom! Team Kreludor holds on during day 5 for yet another sweep, earning first place throughout this bracket. Team Maraqua, unfortunately, takes fifth.
Minitheus Bracket
Team Altador barely puts their name on Day 5's board, resulting in a (4-4) Yooyuball draw and Team Darigan Citadel taking Slushie Slinger, Make Some Noise and Shootout Showdown. Currently faltering is our bracket victors Team Meridell, who only wins Yooyuball and Shootout Showdown while drawing the rest against Team Shenkuu. Oops! Definitely need that practice day. Team Faerieland actually falls off the board, with Team Virtupets gaining a solid sweep against flying friends. I think we all just need a little more dessert to wake us right back up!
Vaeolus Bracket
We lost Team Haunted Woods it seems, because they are swept back to the fairgrounds by Team Terror Mountain. Now that's called game play! Our Vaeolus victory goes to Team Kiko Lake, who has so far slayed all other competition, including Team Tyrannia on day 5. Sweepity sweep sweep! Last but not least for the day and the end of these brackets is Team Mystery Island, who barely escapes with an added win against Team Brightvale. Yooyuball / Make Some Noise wins and a Slushie Slinger tie go to our favorite dancing islanders, with a Shootout Showdown victory going to Brightvale.
