Chapter Two opens with our adventurers on the mountainsides of Shenkuu. They are able to rent a boat (or is it a ship?) for their journey to Altador. Clara forecasts a storm on the most direct path to Altador and suggests they take a detour. Roxton insists on taking the direct route, through the storm! They are forced to land suddenly and find a cave for shelter. There are some intriguing cave paintings, but they are forced to run from the shelter of the cave when they hear a fierce roar.
