Neopets' 25th Birthday
On November 15th, 2024, Neopets celebrated their 25th birthday! This year, Neopets took celebrating their anniversary to the next level by including both on-site and IRL birthday extravaganzas! This page will show some of the different ways Neopets celebrated their birthday with the Neopian community.
Wheel of Celebration
To start off the festivities, Neopets introduced a brand new wheel called Wheel of Celebration. The wheel offers opportunities to win retired items, neopoints, a brand new paint brush and petpet paint brush color, a new avatar, and more! Neopians can spin the wheel twice a day from November 15th to November 25th. All spins are free.
You can get to the Wheel of Celebration either from the Neopets homepage button or from the Explore drop-down menu. When you get there, a Birthday Faellie welcomes you to spin the wheel!
After spinning the wheel once, you're prompted to spin again.
Once you've spun the wheel twice, you'll be asked to come again tomorrow to continue spinning.
Prizes
There are many different types of prizes you can earn when spinning the wheel. You can either earn food-related items, retired plot items, retired (general) items, or NC-related items. Additionally, landing on other icons can earn you an avatar, stamp, special coupon codes for merchandise and more!
New Stamp
For the stamp collectors out there, a brand new stamp has made its way to Neopia through the Wheel of Celebration. Landing on the stamp can earn you a limited edition stamp.

New Neopet & Petpet Colours
Neopets introduced a brand new colour to their Rainbow Pool to celebrate their birthday. The color, 25th Anniversary, made its debut on November 15th by being made available as a Paint Brush and Petpet Paint Brush from the Wheel of Celebration. When landing on the Paint Brush or Petpet Paint Brush, you can earn a 25th Anniversary Paint Brush or 25th Anniversary Petpet Paint Brush. At this time, only Aisha, Kacheek, Kougra, Lupe, and Shoyru can be changed to this colour through the Rainbow Pool.

NC Mall
Aside from winning NC wearable items in the Wheel of Celebration, Neopets gifted every Neopian with a free goodie bag called Neopets 25th Birthday Celebration Goodie Bag and inside was the item, 25th Anniversary Star and Pet Garland. In addition, all Neopians were gifted 1,000 NC when viewing the site's homepage. Note: It is safe to claim the free goodie bag and NeoCash on side accounts! Also, the 1,000 NC takes a few hours to process onto your account.

Aside from brand new paint brush colours, our NC Mall favourite vendor, Umbra, has some fun 25th Anniversary styles at the Styling Studio. There are a total of 19 different styles to choose from in a Neopets' unconverted form.

IRL Birthday Bashes
For the past year, Neopets has been bringing back its name to conventions around the world and partnering with various companies for exclusive merchandise. Neopets has taken their birthday celebration a step into reality by creating mini in-person celebrations around the world.
Neopians around the world applied to become hosts of these celebrations and were chosen by Neopets to host the birthday party of the site! Birthday bashes were primarily celebrated during Neopets' birthday weekend (November 15th-17th), however, Neopets has continued the festivities and for Neopians to continue connecting together around the world until December 15th. A list of Neopets' birthday bashes around the world can be found here.
While Neopians hosted, Neopets provided some of the swag, one of which become a rare item code for an item, the 25th Anniversary Birthday Bash Attendee Medal that awarded the 25th Anniversary - Birthday Bash avatar when their pet played with it.

On November 21st, an inclusive online birthday bash had been added for November 30th from 8 AM to 8 PM NST. Hosted by a YT influencer, bobby4real, panels and giveaways were shared throughout the entirety of the day to include as many people from all over the world to participate. At the end of the celebration, a code was released to put into Grundo's Warehouse! The code is VIRTUBASH25 . The code is available for 48 hours from November 30th.
