Neopets has released two new books for merchandise: Ghoul Catchers: The Quest Continues and Ultimate Neopets Tips!. These books also come with a brand new set of trivia questions for you to answer. If you answer the questions correctly you will receive both books as an item on Neopets.

Also, a new mini plot about Petpet Park may be starting soon according to the Neopian Times editorial #357 (thanks sunshine482 for pointing this out):

So, the Grand Opening Celebration that you see now is an introduction to the world of Petpet Park. More info on Petpet Park itself is coming soon, and there might even be a small mini-plot starting possibly next week, maybe, but don't tell anyone we told you. :P
