If you have ever wanted to break into the Neopian creative community but have no idea where to start, don't worry, we have you covered.

We have a new guide dedicated to all things creative contests!

Get the the basics of scheduling, timing, rules, and tips for a variety of contests: Art Gallery, Beauty Contest, Caption Contest, Customisation Spotlight, Gallery Spotlight, The Neopian Times, Poetry Competition, and Storytelling Competition.

While the community is very welcoming and you do continue to learn as you participate more, this should be a great jumping off point to let your creative juices flow.

TNT have put in a new feature for NeoPass users called Polls. It really is just as it sounds.

Go to your NeoPass account and up at the top you will see "Polls" (or cllick here) and you will be presented with 5 questions across different topics:

What would make you most interested in attending Neopets LIVE?

You will have 2 weeks to make your opinions known! You have to have a Neopets or NeoPass account that is 180+ days old although you must have a NeoPass to participate, so sign up now if you haven't!

Are you wanting that super cool avatar, Game Trophy Enthusiast, but have no idea where to start? Or perhaps do you just want to fill out your user lookup a bit more? Are games not your specialty? Have you heard rumors of a flash fix but remain skeptical? 

Well – good news.

We have put together a guide all about trophies that are completely attainable with Neopets' built-in Ruffle browser extension as well as several other easy (or easy-ish) type trophies, so you can collect the hardware without stress. Or, perhaps, only a little stress.
Note: the three games from The Void Within are not featured here. They may be added in the future if trophies can still be obtained after the plot.

We have a brand new guild layout made in light of the third season of The Void Within plot called Floating in he Void. Be the first to welcome the void to your guild. Enjoy!

Tonight at 5PM PST a special The Void Within livestream will be hosted by @Bobby4realtv and @shopwizardjubjub on Twitch. Featured guests include Ferwanwan, Bobby Coovert, Kevino Gaming, and Pipapeep. Neopets staff will join the livestream including TNT Aesop, TNT Stone, TNT Jewel, TNT Dingo, TNT Fae, TNT Clammyhand, TNT Weirdough, and TNT Ghotiwrangler.

Topics include plot narrative, storytelling and writing, comic art, concept design, TCG expansions and card pulls with game designers, behind-the-scenes with Shop Wizard Jubjub about their iconic puppetry, and Q&A with the team.

TNT will be giving out some "void-errific" prizes throughout the livestream.

The most recent winner of the Gallery Spotlight has dropped some interesting news for us all: a new avatar.

At this time we can confirm it is NOT tied to the trophy and therefore not being back awarded to previous winners. We will let you know if this changes. As we know so far we have seen change with awarding the Storytelling Competition avatar and it is planned to change with Easel-y the Best (Art Gallery) at some point in the future so there is always hope!

Update: We are trying to narrow something down. It appears that gallery winners from 2011 can resubmit their gallery, even without a name change. Can any winners from 2012 or 2013 try to resubmit? Neomail me with the results.

Happy Friday! We have a new guide ready all about the Neopets: Companion App which is available worldwide for iPhone and Android users.

TNT are regularly adding to the app with the newest addition this week being Ye Olde Fishing, so be sure to check in regularly for the latest and greatest.

Avatars for dailies and Sakhmet Solitaire II can be earned through the app however you will not get a Something Has Happened! note about it, although we are working to confirm if Trudy's awards the avatar through the app.
