We at Sunnyneo advise against purchasing a Pirate Paint Brush until the current incident has been sorted out. There was a glitch earlier that was being abused, giving certain players a large sum of points. Consequentially they used them to buy up large supplies of Pirate Paint Brushes.
Currently TNT is working their hardest to freeze accounts that abused this glitch. If you have done nothing wrong, you have no reason to fear. If you fear that you've purchased one of these Pirate Paint Brushes, we advise you to submit a Bug Report ticket with a note to TNT, explaining that you purchased a paintbrush and are unsure if it was illegitimately earned.
If you bought a Pirate Paintbrush for a price like 99999np in the shop wizard, there is a good chance that this Paintbrush was in fact one of these affected brushes.
Remember the golden rule: If it's to good to be true, it probably is. Why not take a look at some more Neopets Rules? :)
