// TECHNICAL ERROR

Unfortunately due to technical difficulties, Altador Cup XI Day 8 news was unable to be posted yesterday. With that in mind, here's our coverage for the games a lil' late – featuring robots!

Alabriss Bracket

Taking a step down from all out domination is Team Brightvale, who let their victory slip a little up against Team Krawk Island with a tie. However, both teams are massive competitors, so an all out sweep on either side would've been ruthless – and an impressive feat. Team Mystery Island is shaking the board, taking three wins up against Team Terror Mountains' one in Shootout Showdown. Coming back up from their graves is Team Haunted Woods, who zombied their way to three wins against Team Virtupets. Only Yooyuball could not be snatched by HW!

Minitheus Bracket

Team Altador continues their valiant fight towards the top, only losing Make Some Noise up against Team Maraqua. Huzzah! Seemingly this team isn't winning only from home court advantage anymore – there's the heart and soul in these games! Team Faerieland only wins Shootout Showdown up against Team Shenkuu in a surprising slip of power. Welp, anything can, and did, happen on Day 8! Team Kreludor takes Slushie Slinger and Make Some Noise up against Team Lost Desert, tying this day with a resounding handshake. Perfect.

Vaeolus Bracket

Team Kiko Lake successfully lands three wins on the board in everything but Yooyuball up against Team Darigan Citadel. In a victorious turn of events, Team Meridell snatches the only sweep on Day 8 up against Team Moltara – and here we thought we were in for a long season of sweeps! Maybe that Altador sun is getting to some teams.. Only a slight error for Team Tyrannia to wrap up this bracket, losing one game up against Team Roo Island in Slushie Slinger. Maybe I should go get myself one as well..

You can't control these robots..

Maybe it's time for this AC reporter to invest in a robot handling book – or acquire better Internet while on vacation. Let's see some more sweeps!!
