As many know by now the Varwolf Mini Plot has had a few hiccups, particularly with the first step and with the Obelisk page. The following fixes can ensure you get the newest discovered avatar.
To fix the first step: Do another Brain Tree quest.
To fix the Obelisk page: Right click and click on "Inspect Element." In the panel that opens ctrl + f riddle_form and you should see prehistoric/outskirts. Change it to prehistoric/battleground. Now you can enter the answer as normal.
Unfortunately there is no known workaround for mobile users. TNT will inevitably fix this, so you have to hang tight.
You also may have to redo this entire step and talk to everyone again, even if no dialogue boxes come up again.
