If you didn't know yet, SunnyNeo is composed of a very small group of people working hard to keep the site running. Full transparency is that we all have jobs to work, families to raise, and loved ones to spend time with. But we love what we do, and we do what we do for our Neopian community because Neopets is our nostalgic virtual home. This past August, we began to celebrate our 20th year, and we plan to keep that number growing. But we can't do it without you.

SunnyNeo is looking for volunteers to help us keep the site running.

We are looking for the following positions to be filled: guide writers, page maintenance crew, and graphic designers. Below are details of what we are looking for in each position.

Guide Writers

• Create new guides that have not been featured on our site
• Keep up with site events and create guides that reflect events such as Festival of Fear, Faerie Festival, Festival of Neggs, the Altador Cup and more.
• It is recommended to have basic HTML/CSS background knowledge.

Page Maintenance Crew

• Keep up with TNT's page conversions throughout the site and update guides accordingly to reflect the changes
• Update any guides around our site to be in uniform using mobile-friendly code
• It is recommended to have basic HTML/CSS background knowledge.

Graphic Designers

• Spew out large (guild layouts, petpage layouts, shop layouts, gallery layouts, userlookups, etc.) and small graphics (adoptables, banners, shields, etc.) each month for our community to enjoy
• Help convert old graphics into new code to match converted pages (ie: shop layouts)
• It is recommended to have HTML/CSS background knowledge. If you're only able to make graphics and not yet know how to code, please still apply.

If you're that person debating to yourself whether or not you should volunteer, here's a question for you: what do you have to lose? Volunteering for SunnyNeo can be short-term or long-term. You can volunteer at your own flexible hours, whether you'd like to help 30 minutes a day or a few hours throughout the weekend. Volunteering with SunnyNeo can be a great way to collaborate with others, experience and learn new things, and a great way to contribute to the community.
