The October #NEOPETS contest has been launched and this time it's a little different than the previous three! It was already teased in a recent editorial that it would be Birthday themed, but now we officially have more details.

There will be two different categories for this round, both of which will see the winners be able to be written into Neopets history:

Category 1 : Create an In-game item for Neopets.com
Design a Birthday-Themed item to be canonized on the classic site. You will be credited in the item description and be granted your item! 10 winners will have their item brought to life!

Category 2 : Digital art for a puzzle game in the companion app
Draw a piece of digital art which will be showcased in our new puzzle game, "A Piece of Neopia" which will be available in the companion app.

There are additional guidelines on the submission form. As usual you can submit up to two pieces with a maximum of one per category. There will only be one wearable winner in category one but other items like books, petpetpets, toys, etc. are encouraged otherwise. The minimum resolution for category two is 1080 x 1080, but it does still have to be square. For additional rules, tips, and more check out our guide.

Submissions will be accepted NOW until October 31st at 11:59pm NST.
