Today the all new choose-your-own-adventure game Kanrik Chronicles launched. This is part of the Festival of Fears, although it will be available long after the event concludes. Note that the Trick-or-Treat bags will start October 23rd.

Read the dialogue and make your choices, guide yourself and Kanrik through this story and unlock one of four different endings. You can get one replay token by default but if you want to get all four endings then you will need to visit the NC Mall for additional replay tokens.

Certain dialogue or action choices use up Energy. You start off with 8 if you are not premium, or 12 if you are. You can buy additional Energy in the NC Mall. If you hit a dead end you will need to watch an ad or wait an hour if you are not premium, although premium can just move forward right away. Each time you run out of energy you need to wait for it to refill. Non-premium refills at the rate of 1 per hour while premium refills at the rate of 2 per hour.

Because there are four endings, there are indeed four avatars (and fonts).
