Happy Monday from TNT. Today they have debuted a new feature: the Pet Bookshelf. Similar to the Archive Bookshelf (check out our guide for more info!) this one is actually specific to what your pet has read. Each pet has their own bookshelf.
As part of this update, the Quick Ref page has been updated. You can now get to Quick Ref by clicking the "My Pets" icon (not from the dropdown) in the sidebar. Go here, then you should notice two different ways to get to the pet's bookshelf like in the example below.
Directly underneath the pet is a "Pet Bookshelf" button, or if you click the arrow at their image you can get a drop down to do many things including visit the Pet Bookshelf (fourth option).
Once you are there you can see what your pet has read, split into both regular and Booktastic books.
If you click "Enter Pet Bookshelf" you will see a screen that is familar to you if you have looked at the regular Archived Bookshelf. Here you can view and customise each pet's individual bookshelf and swap between them in the top left. Each customisation item may only be used on one bookshelf at a time.
You can also buy extra shelves. They start at 3000 NeoPoints, and will go up by 500 NeoPoints for each additional one. For every 150 unique books your pet reads, you will also earn additional shelves. These free ones will not increase the cost of your next paid one.
Read a book to your pet for all new prizes. They seem to be based upon number of books read, but at this time we are still collecting data on each threshold. There are even more books, a stamp, a coin, and wearables you can obtain the more you read. Note that this can be a book they have already read. When you do you will get a popup saying to check your inventory (see above). Also note that you cannot lend a pet out who has already claimed the milestone rewards. Similarly, if you adopt a pet who has read 300 books you cannot claim the previous milestone rewards, just the subsequent ones.
After that you can check your lookup for a new trophy! We are also still collecting data on those thresholds.
But wait! There's more! TWO new avatars!
