TNT posted this update in the news earlier this week:

If we reach our goal of adopted plushies, then EVERY Neopian wil receive an exclusive Plushie Mania avatar. In the event that some Plushies remain in the pound (hardly bears thinking about), only purchasers will receive the avatar code as part of their purchase, to be included on their plushie alongside the in-game rewards. 

Now that the purchase window has closed it looks like that goal (2600 units sold) was not hit and the counter stopped at 67% (hold your jokes) or 1742 units. This means that only 1742 people will be getting the avatar. At this time, both the plushies and the avatar will be making their appearance in September.  It is possible something can change between now and then however we as players are not made aware of the terms and conditions of the contract and this very well could be it for the avatar and out of their hands for awarding it. We will update if anything changes.

 Plushie Mania – Made available to purchasers of Youtooz Plushie Shoyrus and Plushie Jubjubs.

Previously announced to have been available to all once 2600 units sold however the goal was not met.

What is an Adventure Pass?
The Adventure Pass is a progress tracker for the Void Within Plot Event that awards prizes when you collect plot points. The Adventure Pass has an optional upgrade to unlock even better prizes.

How do I unlock the prizes in the Adventure Pass?
Adventure Pass Prizes are unlocked by collecting Plot Points. The more you collect the more prizes you will unlock.

If you visit the Wheel of Monotony you may notice a new ability to spin the wheel faster. That's right, greasing the wheel is finally live. You can pay up to 200,000 NPs to make the wheel spin faster to drop the time down to as low as 48 minutes.

In today's New Features TNT shared an exciting update:

Attention, Neopians! Starting today, we’re giving a second chance to Neopets that no longer have owners. We've been busy clearing out holding accounts and are officially increasing the release of these Neopets back into the Pound randomly, on a weekly basis! These Neopets will appear at random times, so keep your eyes peeled! Head over to The Neopian Pound today and see who's looking for a forever home!

This sounds like pound_release is back in business! Or at least, a version of it since the specifics weren't made all that clear. For those that may recall, it used to release pets and made pound surfing relatively fun until it stopped for unknown reasons a few years back.

It also sounds like we may be inching closer towards a purge or this may have even been part of a purge.

Go adopt someone new!

This April Fools Day the artists thought it would be funny to call in sick. Luckily other TNT members were able to pick up the slack. Mysterious items as seen in the graphic design is my passion image above started to restock in various shops around Neopia. If you manage to get your hands on one you can get yourself a font — I mean an avatar.
