Believing them to be cursed, Camila Cardenas was ready to give up – but the rest of the team still had something to prove. To keep spirits up, they agreed to construct a giant flying Yooyuball pitch (shaped like a giant Yooyu, of course) to travel around Neopia with. But they were not alone in this endeavour: Team Mystery Island shored up and pitched in to help!

The two teams had a bit of a relationship going into Dacardia’s debut, as Mystery Island and Dacardia had long held a quiet friendship between the two lands. The friendship between the teams, however, deepened the more they worked together. Some might even say two in particular grew especially close…

“Oh, he’s so her type,” Camila Cardenas said when asked of the relationship between her team’s captain, Tyrra Tamina, and Mystery Island’s captain, Volgoth. “Big voice, big heart, big muscles—OW!”

“Ignore her!” Tamina said with a bright (but twitchy) smile. “Why don’t you ask Rowdy about who he’s trying to impress instead?”

Ruffaele “Rowdy” Roo’s rivalry with Tandrak Shaye is well-known, but before delving into those sordid details, a more interesting story has unfolded with Magnus Byte, who was discovered, after a few years of single parenting, to have recently written up a dating profile at Cardenas’ request. “Maybe Camila’s right. I’ve given my all to this team and to taking care of my daughter,” he said. “It might be time for me to try and find love again.”
