It's that time of year when the Faeries come together to celebrate the annual Faerie Festival. In 2024, the Faerie Festival began September 24th.
This year, Fyora asks Jhudora and Illusen again for help with this year's festivities. As usual, the festivities include Faerie Quests, donation of excess items, and visiting Faerie-related dailies such as the Wheel of Excitement, TDMBGPOP and Soup Kitchen.
In addition, Neopets will be bringing back the Faerie-related mobile app game with a new name, Neopets: Faerie Fragments as another activity to participate in to earn bonus rewards.
Faerie Quests
Faerie Quests are one of the main activities of the Faerie Festival. In the past, all Faeries participated in giving and receiving Faerie Quests to Neopians to help up their pets' stats or given the opportunity to paint their pets in the Faerie Fountain.
This year, however, there are four Faeries that are participating: Fyora the Faerie Queen, Aethia the Battle Faerie, Naia the Fountain Faerie, and Seshatias the Library Faerie.
Seshatias the Library Faerie is specifically taking over for Baelia the Grey Faerie who is occupied with finding answers for the void and Grey Curse. Seshatias, although having her own powers, mimics the same way Baelia gives out rewards by calling on other elemental faeries or the Fountain Faerie.

Walkthrough
All Faeries are working hard preparing together the Faerie Festival this year. Our event begins with Fyora asking Illusen and Jhudora to recreate a festival similar to last year to give hope to Neopians with what's happening in Neopia. Both faeries, not exactly excited, follow Fyora's instructions. Though, Jhudora seems to question Fyora's intentions of why the Faerie Festival is underway when there's other pressing matters to attend to instead.

I know, but the Faerie Festival is important too. However, I don't have much time for planning. Which is why I called for the two of you once more.

As much as I would like to see you two get along again, I simply don't have the time to argue. So no, I am not going to ask you to run the festival with one another again.

Two invitations were sent on September 26th: one from Illusen and the other from Jhudora. You can read each invitation, but as of September 26th, you cannot join either festival just yet. Joining either festival will be open on October 1st.

Recycling
Just like last year, Illusen and Jhudora use the Faerie Festival as a way to help clean up Neopia with a recycling program. You are able to recycle any items in your inventory. For each item that you donate, there are points to earn. Each item's rarity correlates to specific amount of points earned. Points are then used to collect prizes. Prizes for Illusen and Jhudora are different and can be found below.
