On August 19, 2024, the first puzzle-based activity of the plot launched. Dr. Landelbrot asks Neopians for help in creating a Void Dampener device. Completing this activity with accuracy during the first playthrough will unlock an achievement in Act II called "Go with the Flow", earning you 10 points. As of October 7th, Voidworks became a daily feature as a part of the plot. Puzzles and its difficulty are at random per person who tries the game. There are no points awarded when completing the daily, but you can earn one prize per day.

Dr. Landelbrot realizes that the void dampening process is much more complex than he thought. He is asking for outside help to figure out the following puzzles to get the device to work.

Although it pains me to admit it, I may require a fresh pair of eyes to help me finish initialization. Care to lend a hand?

Once you enter the game, a message will appear to help understand how the game works. This activity is very similar to the iconic Neopets game, Meepit Juice Break, where wires (like pipes) need to be connected from one side of the puzzle to the other.

Dr. Landelbrot needs a hand with the final steps of the Void Dampener he has been developing for Juni. Help him adjust the Regulation Cables to form an unbroken circulative flow of Void Essence within the device. The current of volatile energy flowing within the device can't be tampered with for too long, so be sure to keep an eye on the clock as you go! Correcting the flow of Void Essence through Regulation Cables should successfuly initialize the Void Dampener and save Juni!

Solutions for first playthrough

There are a total of three different puzzles to complete. Each puzzle must be done within the allocated time of 60 seconds (1 minute). Below are the solutions to each puzzle. Completing all puzzles with no mistakes will unlock the Act II achievement, "Go with the Flow". You will also win a prize from a separate prize pool from other activities.

IMPORTANT: When putting the puzzle together, do not connect the beginning or end pieces together until puzzle is complete! In addition, make sure that there's no open ends when finalizing your puzzle! All used parts must have an end and not be open wires.

Puzzle #1

This puzzle is the easiest out of the three. Connect the Regulation Cables from one side of the puzzle to the other in a horizontal fashion.

Puzzle #2

The puzzle begins to get complex. Connect the Regulation Cables from one side of the puzzle to the other. In this puzzle, all wires can be used.

Puzzle #3

This is the last wave of the puzzle, and it is extremely complex. This is the only way this puzzle can be solved.

Daily Voidworks Puzzle

After your first playthrough, you are now able to play the game once a day. (Voidworks is on a 24-hour timer and does not reset at midnight NST, so we recommend to take note of the time at which you are playing to know when it is next available to play!) For the daily plays, only one level can be played and the level's difficulty is random. The puzzle will also be different for each user.

Strategies to solve your puzzle

Keep either the beginning or end pieces unconnected until you have the rest of the pipes positioned correctly!
You do not need to include all pipes or lights, just as long as your power circuit is closed and connects between the two main beginnings and ends. It does not matter how many pieces are left over!
Make sure to close all circuts of pieces being used! Once the power flows, there can be no open ends or you will lose.
